We have been quite busy the last few weeks. Zach is now a full fledged Boy Scout after five crazy years of Cub scouting. His arrow of light ceremony was really fun! We had a big dinner followed by dessert, every family had to make a themed nature cake, they were delicious:)
Zach went on a big campout last weekend and learned how to use an axe, a knife and how to start a fire with matches and flint- Watch out Nebraska!!!
Spring sports start up soon for Zach and Hayley so I will once again be living out of my car, fun times, fun times!
I've been painting like a fool down in the basement, it's coming along slow but sure. Everything has to be primed first so it's kind of a pain. We picked out a dark brown color for the bathroom, so far it looks great!

I love that everytime I see Zach in his uniform there is always a little part in front untucked. Is he ten or what? I love him and the cake was AWE....SOME! Get painting Zach's room, will ya? I'm dying to see the blue.
OK, so you made the manure pile cake? I hope that's not supposed to be something else. Maybe it's just dirt. It looks really tasty regardless of the decoration.
The paint reminds me a little of the cocoa color Angie used. Man, I have to find something to paint brown! I can't wait to see the blue as that will give me the confidence to go ahead with a deeper blue for our bathroom.
Remind Zach to never leave his boy scout group and go traipsing off into the woods alone like that other boy scout that was just in the news. Ha!
Where are the TURKEYS????
The turkeys are out!! Leaving Mass this morn there were 2 turkeys in the road (Cheney). Love that cake.
